The Valpak Awards 2009 have been designed to recognise the organisations which have
implemented the best or most innovative programmes in the areas of packaging, WEEE,
resource management and education. The awards are open to all Valpak members, reprocessors
and Local Authorities; there is also one award open only to persons aged 21 and
under.
- submissions should be no longer than 750 words and should clearly state
the objectives set and what was achieved
- supporting materials should be included
- the initiative that you enter must have been started, or the majority of
the work undertaken, during the 2007 calendar year
- relevant information may be submitted for work prior to that period, providing
successes are continuing
- the deadline for entries has been extended to Friday 17 July 2009
- the entry submitted must not be the same as previous years
- all information provided will be used only for the purposes of these awards
- the judges' decision is final
